Largs Regatta Week supported by CalMac kicks off with the Cumbraes weekend of racing. On Saturday Keelboats will have up to four races on various courses to the north of Great Cumbrae, Dinghies and Catamarans will race in Largs Channel. On Sunday racing will be round the Island(s) of Cumbrae with a start and finish near the entrance to Largs Yacht Haven.
The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust takes young people recovering from Cancer and Leukaemia sailing to help rebuild their confidence following treatment. After a succsessful pilot in 2013 they setup a new base in Largs in 2014. They are looking to recruit a Largs Operations and Fundrasing manager to play a key role in their continued expansion and become part of the Trust team.

The infamous LSC Scottish Night will be on Saturday 28th February Food will be served from 1900 hrs with entertainment from 2000hrs.

An Illustrated talk about sailing round Britain in "Kumalie" a 28 ft traditional yacht.

An illustrated talk from Campbell Moore describing his recent trip around Britain in a low freeboard 28 foot yacht.
The talk will focus on his trip round the UK raising funds for various charities. He will also give us an idea of what it is like to sail such a small boat from Australia on his honeymoon.
Optional buffet prepared by guest chef Alex from 7pm with talk at 8pm..
Regular winter quiz night with a range of general knowledge questions for teams of up to about six people. There is normally a different quizmaster each evening so the type and difficulty of the questions is always different. The quiz starts at 8pm following a hot buffet from 6:45pm.

The Season kicks off with the warm up open series, this is open to visitors for a small entry fee, which allows them to keep their boats at the club for the duration of the event. We have had a good turn out in previous years. Many Thanks to Barton Marine for their generous sponsorship of the prizes for the event.
