OCEAN YOUTH TRUST SCOTLAND - WINTER REFIT APPEAL

Ocean Youth Trust Scotland is a leading, national youth work charity and unique, floating outdoor education centre.  For more than 20 years they’ve inspired young people of all backgrounds and abilities through their life-changing youth work on the waves. Many members of Largs SC have been volunteer sea staff on their boats, and LSC members have regularly sailed on them e.g. our juniors in spring 2017, and Alastair Khaliq's voyage to St Kilda in 2018.

Each winter, their boats must undergo a vital refit to keep them #shipshape for delivering their youth work. However, due to Covid-19, their activities have been on hold since March and they’ve been unable to generate the funds necessary to carry out this essential refit work.

They desperately need to raise £20,000 to fund this vital refit work so they can restart their youth work in 2021. Please support them, by donating and sharing their appeal so they can ensure that the Covid generation can benefit from their life-changing youth work once normality returns.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the gift aid option under 'Boost Your Donation' so that they can benefit from additional financial support.
