Our club moved to its present location at Largs Yacht Haven in 1999, but for the previous 63 years, we used Cairnie's Quay slipway on the Broomfields (south promenade) of Largs for access to the many boats moored in the bay, and dinghy racing. There are still some relics of our history at the slipway, including the frame used for race signals, as described in the attached article.
