We have a range of different memberships to suit individual needs, including family, individual, crew, junior, cadet, house, joint house, berth holder, and group. If you are interested then please come into the clubhouse to see what we offer, and talk to members. Just introduce yourself at the bar, upstairs.
Memberships start at £35 for shore based (house) membership, and £65 for cadets, up to £255 for family membership. There are discounts for part year membership, after 30th June, and a distance discount for family and individual members living some way from Largs - see the membership application form and below for details.
Largs SC is a private members club, and only members and their guests can use our facilities. All members can enjoy the use of our large clubhouse, with bar and good food available, and the best views in the marina from our Lookout Lounge, and balcony.
On the water, we run activities including:

  • Club racing - for dinghies and keelboats, twice a week from spring to autumn
  • Cruising group - for sail and power, cruising in company, talks, skills sessions - summer and winter
  • Sail training - we are an RYA Accredited Training Centre, and we run RYA training courses for cadets and adults, from beginner to advanced - see http://www.lsta.org.uk for details.

Ashore, in addition to our bar and catering facilities, we have an active social programme, particularly in the winter, with talks, monthly quiz nights, other themed social evenings, the dinner dance, and so on. Our cruising group also organises presentations on anything from sea safety to legal matters - see the cruising section of the web site for details.
Members can also hire rooms for private events - anything from business meetings to birthday parties. Even weddings can be held in our fantastic venue.
